Summer has arrived! SW Florida had one of the best ever residential property sales seasons. Following are our market’s critical sales statistics for the last 12 months:
Naples Marco Island
Number of Residential Property Sales 9,800 824
Number of Properties currently for sale 4,700 673
Sales activity is slowing down as many potential sellers and prospective buyers have left for their northern residences. This is, however, the ideal time for serious buyers to pick up on deals for properties still on the market. Owners that did not sell during this high volume sales season feel like they missed out. They are more apt to accept discounted offers rather than wait another seven months for the new selling season to begin. Traditionally, summer is the best time for serious buyers to get the best value deals for residential properties in the Naples/Marco Island market. Prices also remain attractive for investing to rent and future market increases. Residential lots are also attractive investments to build future dream homes or cash-in on rising market prices.
